  we can classify SSD Types based on Two Factors: READ/WRITE speed and SIZE.

  • The read / write speed of  SATA SSD is around 500 to 600 Mbps. Which is much higher than our normal HDD.
  • There is no Noise in SATA SSD as there is no Moving part in SATA SSD. SATA SSD contains CURCUT of Only LOGIC BORD.
  • SATA SSD 120 GB to 2 TB SIZE is available in the Market.
  • You can use SATA SSD in both Laptop & Desktop.
  • SATA SSD has two connectors

1.SATA connector    2. Power connector

1.SATA connecter transfer data between SSD  & Motherbord. SATA connector has 4 pin

2.Power connecter provide power to  SSD. Power connecter has 6 pin.

  • To use mSATA SSD, it is very important to have mSATA port in your Computer Motherboard.
  • This mSATA SSD is commonly used in Laptops.
  • mSATA SSD transfers SATA signals to a PCI Express connector in the form of a mini-card.
  • mSATA Solid-State Drive uses no more than the SATA SSD in our Laptop

  • SSHD is made from the combination of HARD DISK and SSD.
  • SSD provide fast performance for booting, loading and high read/write performance for computing that requires enhanced multitasking capabilities. SSHD can provide near-SSD performance when booting, loading and launching.
  • Low storage capacity SSD(250 GB to 500 GB range) can be affordable price. But high Storage capacity SSD are very expensive price.
  • Especially when measured by cost per Gigabyte(GB). HDD(Harddisk) provide the lowest cost per gigabyte(GB)
  • SSHD provide a cost per gigabyte that is slightly higher than HDD and more lower than SSD.
  • SSHD price is middle range between SSD and HDD price.
  • SSD are the most Power efficient in Laptop & Pc.
  •  SSHD come in at a second Number for power efficiency in Laptop  & Pc.
  • SSHD is made from the combination of HARD DISK and SSD so SSHD are more reliable than normal hdd.

  • M.2  drives are in real world use some where around 3x times FASTER than a SATA SSD.
  • M.2 SSD is used on both laptop and desktop motherboard
  • M.2 SSD is like ram in appearance. But in size it is smaller than ram
